"The Simpsons" are regarded as one of the longest running and most successful television series of television history. Created by Matt Groening and an experienced team of authors , the stories of the Simpson family - that are Homer, Marge, Bart, Maggie and Lisa - amuse children and adults worldwide. Supported by an ensemble of more than thirty minor characters The Simpsons is an ambitious social satire with playful cross-references to the various areas of pop culture.
Homer is the man in the house, but not exactly how you imagine him, still loves his wife, margin him and he them. Preferably, he is at Moe's Terverne, his master Pub, with his booze buddies busy drinking Duff beer. Otherwise he just sits in front of television and eats ships, or other unhealthy stuff. He works - well, rather he just sits around doing nothing - in the nuclear power plant. Marge is the typical housewive. Additionally, she has large blue hair and a voice you won't forget. Bart is cheeky and always in trouble - he's bad in school and always does what he really should not do. Lisa is very gifted, plays saxophone and writes only A's. Maggie, the little baby who can not yet speak, is mostly occupied with her pacifier.
But there are also many minor characters who always reappear, such as Abraham called Grandpa Simpson, who often falls into a coma and wakes up again later, Moe the bartender, known for his problems with women and whose best customer is Barney Gumble, the drunkard, or Bart's friend Millhouse (in my opinion a muck of "Paul" from "Wonderful Years"), who is unluckily in love with Lisa is and of course Nelson, the schoolyard bully.
The series also lives part of this very funny minor characters, some of which don't even own a proper house in Sringfield, such as Gill, the unsuccessful salesman who constantly tries to sell people useless stuff, but repeatedly fails to make any money, or Kang and Konos, the two aliens who attempt the World to take over, but fail everytime.
